How a leather cigar-case is produced.

Once the materials have been selected, outer leather and inner lining, the moulds are produced. With the design and measurements you indicate, we can adapt our production to your needs, personalising your leather cigars-case and adapting them to your requirements.

With the moulds made, the leather and linings are cut according to the measurements of our customers. Once the leather and lining are stamped, the edges are sewn. To achieve the shape of the cigar-cases, they are soaked in water and once they are moistened, they are put into the moulds under pressure. This process consists of adjusting the leather to the mould, applying pressure with our craftsmen’s own hands. To do this, they also use a wooden tool called a “HORMA”.

Once this process is finished, the cigar-cases are removed from the mould and left to dry for 24 / 48 hours. This drying process is very important, because if it is not completely respected, it can damage the cigar-cases and the cigars themselves.
